WHAT IS VADIVA’S TECH & DESIGN FEST?
Vadiva’s Tech & Design Fest is a 3-day international festival that brings together students, creators, innovators, schools, and industry professionals from across India and Asia.
With 3000+ students, 50+ special guests, and ₹25L+ in cash prizes and startup grants, the festival is designed to inspire the next generation of thinkers and entrepreneurs.
From competitions and workshops to startup showcases and keynote sessions — this is where imagination meets real-world innovation.

Protospark is an 8-week innovation and entrepreneurship challenge that helps students think like real founders.
Over the journey, students will:
- Explore ideas
- Identify real problems
- Validate solutions
- Build prototypes
- Create business models
- Pitch their idea at the grand finale at Vadiva Fest
Age Groups: Junior (10–12) | Middle (13–15) | Senior (16–18)
Mode: Hybrid (Online + In-school)

Protospark is an 8-week innovation and entrepreneurship challenge that helps students think like real founders.
Over the journey, students will:

- Pitch their idea at the grand finale at Vadiva Fest

Who can participate in the competitions?
Students from Grade 6 to 12 from any school in India.
Who can apply for Protospark?
Students aged 10–18 in Junior, Middle, and Senior levels.
Is there a registration fee?
Fees vary by category. Details are available on the registration pages.
Can students participate individually?
Yes, most competitions allow solo or team participation.
Do schools need to register separately?
Yes. A dedicated School Participation page is available.
Can teachers and educators attend without participating?
Yes. They can register through the Visitor Registration page.
What is the last date to register?
Registrations close in November for Protospark and December for competitions.
Will students receive certificates?
Yes, all participants receive digital certificates.
Are materials for competitions provided?
Basic infrastructure is provided. Advanced kits may be brought by teams.
How will winners be selected?
A panel of experts will evaluate based on creativity, execution, and impact.
How does the startup pitch work?
Students pitch their idea to judges during the fest and compete for grants.
Can parents attend?
Visitor slots are limited and open for select sessions
